Webinar: Development and validation of test methods The Swedish 3Rs Center would like to invite you to a lunch webinar about the importance of development and validation of test methods to enhance the quality in research and to grow the Swedish service lab sector. Where: Zoom (registered participants will receive a zoom-link via email before the webinar) Speaker We have invited Dr Kristina Fant, who has long experience in the area of validation of methods for regulatory purposes and is a co-author of the OECD guidance document Good In Vitro Method Practices (GIVIMP). Dr Fant is now contributing as an expert to the Swedish Chemicals Agency in the ongoing revision of the OECD guidance document on validation, GD 34, within the OECD Test Guidelines Programme. Content In this webinar Dr. Kristina Fant will focus on: a need for modern in vitro test methods to assess the safety of chemicals and materials; how the validation sector has a potential to grow and generate business in Sweden (case study example); concepts of test method validation, in-house validation and formal regulatory validation; guidance for performing in vitro research as well as the new collection of resources at the Swedish 3Rs Center. It is a support for anyone who is about to validate a method.
