Meet Maria Karlgren, an associate professor at Uppsala University, who explains methods that are used to study drug delivery and that have replaced animal experimentation.
Maria together with her colleagues at the Department of Pharmacy at Uppsala University develops models and methods that can predict drug-like properties. The group has developed several in vitro models, that replace animal experimentation; methods that Maria describes in our film.
