Non-animal methods in science
Earlier this year The Togeth3R Consortium of European 3Rs centres hosted a series of webinars on non-animal approaches in research fields associated with high levels of animal use.
The series attended 3,231 participants from 53 different countries. The series brought together experts in non-animal approaches in the top four scientific areas with highest animal use in Europe.
The webinars focused on research methods within
- infection and immunity
- oncology
- neuroscience
- cardiovascular science.
The recordings of all the lectures from the webinars are now available to the public at the NC3Rs website.
The Togeth3R Consortium
The Togeth3R Consortium is a group of eight 3Rs centres from Sweden, Denmark, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK. Members of the group have been collaborating since 2020 to host webinar series showcasing 3Rs research and innovation across Europe. Find out more about The Togeth3R Consortium at the NC3Rs website.
