Webinar on 3R Strategies in Veterinary Education and Laboratory Animal Handling
We are pleased to welcome two outstanding Doctors of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Copenhagen, who will present their work on 3R strategies in veterinary education and laboratory animal handling.
Rikke Langbæk, associate professor emerita at the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, will talk about the use of simulated surgeries as a way to improve veterinary training and reduce the number of animals needed.
Dorte Bratbo Sørensen, associate professor at the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, will then talk about the use of positive reinforcement to train laboratory animals to voluntarily participate in procedures.
After the presentations, there will be time for questions from the audience.
